Easter is the beginning of Springtime, and birthdays in Spring are colorful and fun. Include Easter egg dyeing as an activity at a birthday party and you will keep the kids involved for ages. With different colors, stickers, personalization, these Easter eggs will shine.
Clever tip to control the egg is to use a whisk. Normally used in kitchens for incorporating air in egg whites, batters or sauces, you can also squeeze the hard boiled egg through the wires of the whisk. This gives you great control while dipping the egg into the dye. You can even leave the egg and whisk soaking for a long while. The whisk will stand up in a glass and will not accept the colored dye itself. When removing the egg to your drying tray, hold the egg close to the tray and gently squeeze the metal apart to let the egg drop out of the whisk.
Try it!
